Appellation - Arroyo Seco, Monterey County

Vineyard - Rancho Llegado

Alcohol - 11%

Case Production - 1318 cases

Vinification and Elevage - The added skin contact time while in transport to the winery boosts the aromatics and savoriness of the wine. Once at the winery, grapes are pressed then cold settled for 72 hours before the fermentation is allowed to begin. Fermentation this vintage lasted 50 days at 52 ̊F. 100% Stainless Steel Ageing.

100% Gewurztraminer

Gewurztraminer wines are perfumed with aromas ranging from blossom to lychee and orange peel, all with a relatively full body, low acidity and ranging from dry to sweet. Most readily associated with the Alsace region of northeastern France, the grape is nonetheless found in wine regions worldwide.
