What do we mean by the "Old Old World"? We mean the countries where the very first wines were made! We'll be tasting indigenous varieties (gapes that first originated from these countries) while you learn all about how wine first came to be and how far it has come.
In this class we'll be tasting a dry white wine called Furmint, and a very well known dessert wine called Tokaji Aszú. If you're on the fence about dessert wines, FEAR NOT! This is a very mildly sweet wine, has beautiful acid, and will pair well with many dishes. It comes in a 500ml bottle and can stay in the fridge for much longer than a normal bottle of wine, so you will have time to enjoy it with many meals after our class.
This wine tasting will be hosted Virtually over Zoom on May 14th, 6pm PST
